Please help with CRM 3.0 Professional!

I have a problem with CRM 3.0 Professional. I restored database
(Organization_Name_METABASE, Organization_Name_MSCRM and
ReportServer), then I browse it and it has got the message below:

Invalid User Authorization: The user authentication passed to the
platform is not valid.

I browse it as system administrator access right.

Anyone has any ideas about it, please help.

MSCRM_MSDE error

I'm trying to configure CRM 4.0 client for Outlook (laptop version).

The environmental diagnostic runs with no error but then, on configuration,
i get the following error:

"Cannot open database "MSCRM_MSDE" requested by the login. The login failed."

Why is it happening? Any idea how to solve it?

How to display relationships in some way

I´am fighting with a problem how to publish/visualize relationships between
various companies, accounts and opportunities in CRM.

I´am talking about how to visualize in some way that OPPORT1 is related with
ACCOUNT1 and it is related with CONTACT1 and CONTACT2 which is related with
ACCOUNT2, etc.

I was trying to display it at least into excel but i cant find where (in
which tables) are those data stored and how to drag it through Query some way.

Best version will be to get it to visio or some kind of report in reporting
services but right now, I just cant find clue where to look.

Please help.

Setting up email router for CRM 4

Issue :
We have an exchange account for our support staff that users send
email to when they have a problem. The goal is to have the messages
pulled into a queue in CRM and then deleted from the exchange account.
Is this possible without using a forward mailbox? Can I setup the crm
email router to connect directly to the exchange account, pull mail
out of it, and then remove it.

From what I understand, the email router is supposed to be able to
pull mail directly from the exchange account without a forward mailbox
(though I haven't been able to get it to work), but can it delete mail
from the exchange account as well?

I'm pretty sure the email router can't do this. Assuming I can get the
messages from the exchange account into crm and that these messages
are not automatically deleted from the exchange account, is it
possible to have the messages be deleted when/if the message is
deleted from within CRM?

Compatibility between CRM 3.0 & Office 2007

Issue:
Anyone knows if CRM is compatible with Office 2007 for trying to export the
information to do my reports but do not update the lists.

Suggestion # 1
CRM 3.0 is compatible with Office 2007.
Even when export dynamic Excel, system says that file format is not .xls. Do
not care, just opan or save.
Also the can be data sync issue with crm server if server is not set as
trusted in Office Trust Center. But the there should be a notification
toolbar on Excel sheet.

Suggestion # 2
There is a special version of the CRM for Outlook client that is compatible
with Outlook 2007 - the version is called "V3C" - make sure you install it
as well as all the rollup patches that go along with it.

Report Issue in CRM 4.0

Issue :

I have an error, which is "The report cannot be displayed, when I run a
report from CRM 4.0 client side.  It works fine if I run at CRM server side.

I found a thread asked "Have you checked or notice some security groups in
Report? "  but I don't know how?

If anyone has any ideas, let me know and I'd appreciate it.



CRM 4.0 activity workflow question

Issue ::
I am attempting to create a workflow that first checks to see if a contact
has a certain value selected in a picklist, then creates a phone call
activity for that contact every 90 days.

I seemed to understand CRM 3.0 workflows better than the new version and I
cannot get this right. In the old version, I did something like " check this
condition, wait 90 days, create the phone call activity and run the
subprocess" (which ran the first workflow). I have tried many different ways
of doing this, but none of them seem to work.

Does anyone know how to create this workflow in 4.0? I am not sure what I am
doing wrong. 

Suggestion # 1 :

choose workflow and then forexample

workflow              timeout  equals      (from FORM assistant choose
the dynamic values ).

PS" once there was also blog on msdn about it"

You are missing timeout. let us know if you still face any problem regarding Microsoft CRM 4.0 Worflow.
